"The body keeps the score. This retreat is where the body finally gets to put it down."
Your nervous system was not designed to carry what modern life asks it to carry. The chronic stress, the overstimulation, the endless decisions, the screen light at midnight — all of it accumulates in the body as tension, fatigue, and a low-level hum of anxiety that most of us have simply learned to call normal.
It isn't normal. And it isn't permanent.
The Nervous System Reset is six days of deliberate decompression — somatic movement, breathwork, restorative yoga, jungle immersion, cold water, stillness, and the particular medicine of having nowhere to be and nothing to perform. Set in the Amazon, where the pace of the living world recalibrates your own, the effects begin before the first formal session.
You will leave feeling lighter than you have in years. Not because anything was fixed — but because your body remembered how to rest.
Six days structured as a gradual descent into stillness — and a gentle return. Each day builds on the last.
A gentle entry into the body. Through movement, breath, and stillness, you begin to feel where tension has taken up residence — and what it might mean to let it go. No forcing. No performing. Just listening.
What it feels like when the nervous system finally exhales. Restorative practices, sound healing, and long stretches of unstructured time train the body to trust stillness again — a skill many of us have quietly lost.
The jungle is not a backdrop — it is part of the medicine. To walk among ancient plants, rivers, and living sound is to remember something the body already knows. Presence arrives without effort out here.
Regulation that stays with you. You leave not just rested but equipped — with practices, patterns, and an understanding of your own nervous system that travels home with you.
An ending that honours what was begun. To be witnessed, to speak it aloud, and to seal the experience in community — this is what turns a week away into something that actually changes you.
The Peruvian Amazon operates at a completely different frequency from the world most of us live in. The soundscape alone — birds, insects, water, wind — begins to regulate the nervous system within hours of arrival. There is science behind this: exposure to natural environments measurably reduces cortisol, heart rate, and inflammatory markers.
We use this. Every session is designed to work with the environment, not despite it. Cold river water activates the vagus nerve. Morning mist and birdsong lower the stress response. Evening stillness teaches the body that it is safe to rest.
The techniques are somatic and breath-based, grounded in polyvagal theory and trauma-informed practice. They work. And in this setting, they work faster.
We work with the nervous system through the body — not the mind. No therapy, no analysis. Just the body learning to let go.
All sessions are led with full awareness that the body holds history. Nothing is pushed. Everything is invited.
You leave with a personal practice toolkit — simple, sustainable techniques to continue the reset at home.
All retreats are fully all-inclusive. A non-refundable $500 deposit is required to reserve your spot. Flexible payment options available leading up to the retreat.
Very little is required. The most important preparation is permission — permission to stop, to rest, and to receive.
Deposits to secure your spot are non-refundable. The rest of your payment is refundable with a 30 day cancellation notice.
We offer flexible payment plans to make your retreat experience more accessible. After your initial deposit, the remaining balance can be divided into manageable payments based on how far away your retreat date is and what is manageable for you.
Our most common plan is a monthly payment plan. After your initial deposit, the remaining balance can be divided into equal monthly payments leading up to your retreat date. For example, if your retreat is 10 months away, your balance can be split into 10 monthly installments.
Yes, with care. All sessions are trauma-informed and led with full awareness that anxiety and trauma are often held in the body. Nothing here will push you into overwhelm — the pace is gentle, the practices are regulating by design, and the facilitators are trained to work with sensitivity. If you have a specific history, please share it in your intake form so we can adapt accordingly.

No. This retreat does not require any prior experience with yoga, breathwork, or meditation. The sessions are accessible to all bodies and all starting points. What matters is the willingness to show up and try — everything else is guided.
Guests stay in comfortable shared glamping accommodations surrounded by the sounds of the river and beauty of the jungle. Private rooms are available upon request. Each space is simple, grounding, and designed to support rest, reflection, and connection to the natural environment.
All meals are freshly prepared using organic, locally sourced Peruvian ingredients. The menu is light, nourishing, and supportive of nervous system regulation. Fresh fruit, juices, herbal teas, and ceremonial cacao are available throughout the day.
There is Starlink wifi at Casa Kallpa, but we encourage guests to treat the retreat as a digital detox — time away from screens supports deeper rest and nervous system regulation.
It is a right. And six days in the Amazon might be exactly what it takes to remember that.
